The Unitarian Universalist Church of Minnetonka (UUCM) and Robert J. Dachelet Trustee have submitted an application to rezone the property located at 2030 Wayzata Boulevard from (R-1) Low Density Single Family Residential to Planned Unit Development (PUD), and approval of a concurrent Concept / General Plan PUD and site plan. In addition, the Applicants are requesting a Comprehensive Plan Land Use Map Amendment from 1 Acre Single Family Residential to Institutional /Public. The purpose of the requested rezoning, PUD, and amendment is to allow UUCM to construct a new church on the property. This application is similar to the UUCM’s 2008 application, and is a result of a settlement agreement between the City and UUCM.
