Home Energy Tool The Home Energy Saver is designed to help consumers identify the best ways to save energy in their homes, and find the resources to make the savings happen.
The tool computes a home's energy use online, based on methods developed at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Users can estimate how much energy and money can be saved and how much emissions can be reduced by implementing energy-efficiency improvements.
The Minnesota Energy Challenge is a fun and easy website where Minnesota residents can learn how to stay comfortable and save money in their homes. Launched in 2006 by local nonprofit Center for Energy and Environment, the Energy Challenge provides in-depth guides to energy efficiency and conservation actions, as well as practical information about savings and cost.
