Night to Unite Block Party Sign Up

It’s not too early to start planning your Night to Unite Party!
Each year on the first Tuesday night in August, the City of Wayzata hosts “Night to Unite,” a summer evening dedicated to celebrating and strengthening the commitment to a safe community. For Wayzata residents, this is an opportunity to put together a neighborhood celebration, gather with neighbors and friends and get to know one another, play some games with the kids, enjoy a few hot-off-the-grill favorites, and encourage crime prevention.
Neighborhoods are asked to register their block party so representatives from the Police and Fire Departments, as well as elected officials, city staff, and McGruff the Crime Fighting Dog can stop by to visit the parties that evening from 5:15 to 8:30 p.m. for community building. If you are hosting a block party, go to www.wayzata.org/NightToUnite and fill out the registration form by July 21.
