Campaign Finance Reports
Under Minnesota State Statute 211A.02, candidates, committees and corporations that receive and / or spend more than $750 in a calendar year must file a campaign finance report with the state. Reports to be filed to the City of Wayzata City Clerk's office are:
- An Initial Report - due within 14 days of reaching the $750 threshold
- A Pregeneral - 10 days before the general election
- A Certificate of Filing - within 7 days of a general election
- A Post-General - 30 days after a general election
- An Annual Report - by January 31 of of each year following the year when an initial report was filed
Per Minnesota Statue 211A.02, Subdivision 6, campaign finance reports for local candidates will be made available on this website for 4 years after they have been filed with the City Clerk's office.
