Panoway Environmental Assessment Worksheet

An Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EAW) for Panoway on Wayzata Bay (formerly Lake Effect) was prepared by the City of Wayzata in 2016. The results are available for public review by clicking the links below.

The purpose of the EAW is to determine if Panoway will have significant environmental impacts, and outline ways to avoid or minimize potential environmental effects. Based on the criteria in Minnesota Rules part 4410.1700, the project does not have the potential for significant negative environmental effects. An Environmental Impact Statement will not be required.

The EAW is not an approval of the project. The EAW is a tool to help the City understand the regulatory and permitting requirements. Permits will be required from other public agencies once construction documents are prepared.
