Seasonal Public Service Worker

The City of Wayzata is now accepting employment applications for three (3) positions of a Seasonal Public Service Worker.

Wayzata is a premier suburb located 11 miles west of downtown Minneapolis. With a population of 4,500 people, Wayzata is a tight-knit community which is known for its vibrant downtown and picturesque setting on Lake Minnetonka. A popular destination for visitors, Wayzata’s downtown is home to a number of specialty shops, boutiques, professional services, and restaurants. Wayzata’s business districts and residential neighborhoods provide a significant tax base for this unique small town community.

General Duties

Performs various types of manual labor and operates light equipment in the maintenance of City streets, parks, utilities and landscaping.

40 hours per week Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, evening and weekends may occur.  Scheduled work runs from May through August.

Minimum Requirements

Possession of valid driver's license and good driving record; light to heavy physical labor with ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
