The City of Wayzata has completed a draft of its 2040 Comprehensive Plan. The Comprehensive Plan presents a vision for the future of Wayzata, describes aspirations for community development, and is an important tool for guiding the growth, redevelopment, and improvement of Wayzata. It consists of goals, objectives, policy statements, standards, and maps for guiding the physical, social, and economic development of the City and its environs. The plan is made up of a series of sections: land use, housing, transportation, natural resources, historic preservation, and community facilities.
The following survey (link below) provides an opportunity to comment on the draft comprehensive plan. There are opportunities to provide feedback on each of the plan elements individually, or the plan as a whole. Your input will be used to help to finalize the Comprehensive Plan before moving to the adoption process. The last day to take the survey is May 20, 2019.
