Project Description

This application was denied by the City Council at their April 19 meeting. 

A Caribou Cabin/Urban Wok to replace the vacant gas station building at 1022 Wayzata Blvd E. Applicant Reprise Design is proposing a one-story building with a drive-through for the Caribou. 

The development project includes the following requests: 

• Conditional Use Permit for drive-through restaurant use
• Lot Combination with the adjacent vacant parcel to the south
• Rezoning and Comprehensive Plan Amendment to zone the vacant lot for commercial use
• Design Review 

City Review Dates

• Neighborhood Meeting held by applicant -  Thursday, March 3 at 4:30 p.m. at City Hall.
• Planning Commission #1 - Monday, March 21 at 6:30 p.m. 
• Planning Commission #2 (consent agenda) - Monday, April 4 at 6:30 p.m.
• City Council - Tuesday, April 19 at 7:00 p.m.
