On April 22, the Wayzata Parks & Trails Board will host an Earth Day event from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. at City Hall. This event will include stories for kids, demonstrations, tree information, a raffle, contests, and more! 

Win a Potted Tree

Otten Bros has donated two potted trees to be raffled at the event. The drawing will take place at 2:00 p.m. Must be present to win. 

Sign Up for a Free Tree Seedling

Sign up to receive a free Swamp White Oak, Red Oak, White Spruce, Fraser Fir or Red Pine seedling. Seedlings will be distributed at the event. 

Order a Native Tree

Buy native trees to support wildlife and the environment! Your order will be dropped off at Wayzata City Hall on April 22 for pickup during the event.

Participate in the Tree Champion Contest

Hunt for Wayzata trees that boast the tallest canopies and broadest trunks! Nominate a tree on your private property or a public tree. Submissions are due on April 22 and the winner will be announced on Arbor Day, April 28. Gift cards will be awarded to the tallest and widest Wayzata trees.
