The Minnesota Department of Transportation in April will start an improvement project on the Highway 101 bridge over Highway 12.
Crews will work near the bridge in spring and it will remain open. In early July, crews will remove the top part of the bridge and begin work on replacing concrete and adding turn lanes. The bridge and ramps will remain closed through October, however, the westbound and eastbound on ramps could reopen sooner.
Detours can and other project information can be found on the web page: mndot.gov/metro/projects/hwy12andcountyroad101bridge/
Please be good neighbors and drive the detours. City streets are not designed to handle high volumes of traffic.
