Restrictions on Water Use

lawn-irrigation

Don’t forget that the permanent odd/even sprinkling ban is in effect from May 1 to September 30 of each year. The purpose of this restriction is to encourage conservation and prevent excessive use of water. Using water for irrigation purposes is prohibited from noon to 5 p.m. daily. If your address ends in an even number, you may water on even number calendar days. If your address ends in an odd number, you may water on odd number calendar days. The restrictions apply only to lawn watering and not to incidental uses such as filling pools or washing cars. To view the entire ordinance, visit www.wayzata.org/wateruse.
