Wayzata Community Education Summer Programs Canceled Earlier this year, the City of Wayzata and Wayzata Community Ed announced that they had formed a new partnership to offer summer programs in Wayzata parks. We have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of summer and the opportunity to share the fun and educational activities we had planned for Wayzata residents. Just as COVID-19 has changed our daily lives, it has also changed our summer plans. Wayzata Community Ed and the Wayzata Parks and Trails Board felt it was in the best interest of the community to cancel the remaining summer park programs offered by Wayzata Community Ed. As difficult as this decision was, it is important we protect the health and safety of the community.
We encourage you to get outside this summer and enjoy the parks with your family, while following safety guidelines. We look forward to seeing you in our park programs next summer, when we can launch our new partnership under better circumstances.

We ask people using the beach to be safe, to stay close to inexperienced swimmers and to do their best to maintain social distancing and follow CDC guidelines.
