Where to Bring Your Fallen Leaves
It's that time of year again! Drop your collected fallen leaves at the Wayzata compost site, now open weekends, through November 8, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and weekdays from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m (except holidays). Residents are required to unbag all materials and are asked to take empty bags home for reuse or disposal. As a reminder: Only soft-bodied yard waste (such as grass and leaves) is permitted. No brush, stumps, branches, plastic bags, paper bags, etc. will be allowed.
The Compost Site is Located at 299 Wayzata Blvd W
Utility Installation is Complete
In July, Universal Services began installing utility lines for Comcast in Wayzata. Currently, they are working along Wayzata Blvd, Gleason Lake Road, and the T.H. 12 North Frontage Road. The utility installation work is complete, however the contractor is still wrapping up restoration of sidewalks and street pavement. They expect to be completely finished in mid-November.
