State Mask Mandate Lifted TodayThis morning, Governor Walz lifted the statewide mask mandate following the CDC announcement that vaccinated individuals no longer need to wear a mask. The state continues to recommend unvaccinated Minnesotans mask up to protect themselves and their neighbors. What's Next for Panoway ProjectThe completion of Phase I of Panoway on Wayzata Bay took place in the fall of 2020. This phase included important investments in infrastructure, upgrading utilities, sidewalks and bike lanes and creating a new and improved connection between Wayzata and Lake Minnetonka through the Plaza Park.
This year, the focus will be on Phase II, specifically, procurement of the design and permitting for the boardwalk and restoration of the Historic Section Foreman House. Construction on the $10 million boardwalk is planned to commence in 2022, pending available funding.

Mediacom & Channel 11Channel 11 has been down on cable due to a dispute and negotiations with Mediacom. Unfortunately, there is nothing the City or Mediacom can do about it until they reach an agreement. We know this is not ideal and frustrating as it is a popular channel. Until there is a resolution, we recommend watching Kare11 News online. The City is open to other cable providers should they approach us in the future.
