Public Works Update

pond maintenance

LaSalle Pond Maintenance

Nadeau Companies, LLC has been hired to perform pond maintenance (dredging) on the LaSalle Pond, south of LaSalle Street, between Reno and Lacher Streets.

The project includes excavating accumulated sediment from within the pond and making improvements at the pond’s inlet and outlet pipes (see above photo). These improvements will help improve the stormwater quality and reduce the amount of pollutants that are discharged downstream.

Work began this month, and is expected to be completed by the end of February.
