Residential Burglaries

The Wayzata Police Department has seen a recent uptick in residential burglaries. There are a few simple solutions to help prevent these crimes:

•  Always lock your door
• Arm your security system, if you have one
• Turn on outside lights

Wayzata Residents can now access a confidential database and enter both Residential and Business Keyholder information as well as request house checks. This tool will be most useful for those leaving for extended periods of vacation.
