Wayzata and Superior Boulevard Intersection

While work on this project is mostly complete, the project has been paused due to a delay in the availability of the permanent traffic signal poles. The contractor expects to install these signal poles in late August and place the final layer of pavement. In the meantime, the intersection will continue to be controlled by the temporary traffic signal system, with all lanes expected to be open to traffic. Thank you for your patience.

We encourage you to visit NavigateWayzata.com for the latest information about the project and suggested alternate routes. You can also sign up to receive text or email updates about these construction projects and learn new ways to get to your favorite local businesses as we sail ahead to a safer and improved Wayzata.

Lake Street

We are currently accepting construction bids for this project to reconstruct Lake Street from Broadway Avenue to Barry Avenue. The project will include the replacement of the roadway and sidewalks, the addition of a dedicated bike trail, the replacement of the watermain from Broadway Ave to Manitoba Ave, and the construction of a park/plaza in the location of the existing municipal parking lot. Construction is anticipated to begin in late September.
